Saffron Magicworks is a rapidly growing production house which aims to build a platform for unique voices of Indian cinema and create global content, including Feature Films, Digital Content, Television and TVC’s.
Our cinematic journey began with the critically acclaimed Veere Di Wedding (2018), one of the highest-grossing female-led films in Hindi cinema. Building on this success, we produced the action-packed sequel Dabangg 3 (2019), further cementing our place in the entertainment industry. We also ventured into the realm of mythological storytelling with the grand television series Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (2019–2020), offering audiences a captivating blend of tradition and modernity. Our recent release is CTRL (2024), directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and starring Ananya Panday. CTRL has garnered great reviews from critics and public alike, currently streaming on Netflix. At Saffron, we are dedicated to telling quality and entertaining stories.
Founder
Nikhil Dwivedi is a distinguished figure in Indian cinema, both as an actor and a producer. After completing his MBA and initially embarking on a corporate career, he followed his true calling and transitioned into the world of cinema. His debut performance in the 2008 crime comedy My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves marked the beginning of his acting career, with notable roles in films like Raavan (2010), Shor in the City (2011), and Scam 1992 (2020).
A key driving force behind Saffron Magicworks, Nikhil brings a blend of creative insight and business acumen, having been deeply immersed in the industry for over a decade and a half. His understanding of both the artistic and commercial aspects of filmmaking has been instrumental in shaping the production of the successful projects under Saffron’s banner.
Dwivedi made his mark as a producer with the smash hit Veere Di Wedding (2018), which remains one of the highest-grossing female-led films in Hindi cinema. Followed by the blockbuster sequel Dabangg 3 (2019). His producing ventures continued with the grand mythological series Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran (2019–2020) and with the most recent Netflix release, CTRL (2024)—a digital thriller Directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and starring Ananya Panday, the film has received a positive critical response.
Producer
Shivie Pandit has been an integral part of Saffron Magicworks for over ten years, producing content that spans the gamut of TV commercials, television shows and feature films. Her expertise lies in bringing creative visions to life through meticulous planning and seamless execution.
Shivie has served as the Co-Producer on successful feature films like Veere Di Wedding and Dabangg 3 and as the Producer of the popular television serial Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran. Recently she Co-Produced the widely praised Netflix original film CTRL, further showcasing her ability to deliver high-quality content to diverse audiences.
